Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team in Columbus. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about event coordination and enjoys working in a dynamic, creative environment. As an Events Assistant, you will support the planning and execution of various client and internal events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and organization of corporate and promotional events
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams
Support on-site event setup and breakdown
Prepare event materials, schedules, and logistics
Monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Provide administrative support to the Events Manager
Assist with post-event reporting and analysis
Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders involved
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field
1–2 years of experience in event planning or coordination
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic event management tools
